Queer Life:Moving – Film Screening, Food & Creative Reflection

  • New Street Market 70 New Street Woodbridge, England, IP12 1DX United Kingdom (map)

Join us for a powerful evening of film, creativity, and conversation as we screen Queer Life:Moving, a moving participatory filmmaking project exploring the end-of-life and care experiences of LGBTQIA+ people.

Through deeply personal stories, the films shine a light on the challenges LGBTQIA+ communities can face when accessing care, while also celebrating identity, resilience, love, and belonging. From experiences of discrimination and invisibility to touching stories of long-term relationships and community, these films invite us to think differently about death, dying, and what compassionate care looks like for everyone.

The evening begins at 7.30pm with a short introduction to St Elizabeth Hospice, followed by a creative workshop exploring identity and the stories that shape us. Food will be provided, and the film screening will start at 9.00pm.

Come for the film. Stay for the conversation. Leave with a deeper understanding of the lives, experiences, and voices that deserve to be heard.

7.30pm start | Film at 9.00pm | Food provided | All welcome.
