About the Artist
Laura creates functional and sculptural ceramic forms inspired by the natural elements of earth and water. Working with a combination of hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques, she produces tableware, lamps and one-of-a-kind vessels that reflect a deep connection to the landscape around her. 

Laura’s most recent collection draws directly from life in the woods, translating the colours and patterns of bark and leaves, the contours of branches, and the organic structures of the forest into clay. She use texture, form and surface to interpret the intricate details of her environment. 

Each piece becomes a record of her journey through the woodland, capturing the vibrancy, movement, and spirit of place. 

Laura uses an electric kiln and fire to stoneware.
