Our Deli Front of House team are the friendly faces that keep everything flowing. You’ll be welcoming customers, serving up great food, handling orders and payments, and making sure every visit feels easy, relaxed and genuinely enjoyable. It’s a hands-on role where energy, attention to detail and a natural warmth go a long way – whether you’re slicing, recommending, or just having a quick chat across the counter.

Job Title: New Street Market Cafe, Kitchen and Bar All Rounder

Hours: Full Time (40h per week) and Part Time (20h per week) available

Remuneration: £15-£16 per hour depending on experience

Start Date: 30/04/2025

Shifts: New Street Market will operate on a six day rota and the successful candidate will be able to commit to weekend and evening work.

Specific tasks to include: Taking Orders, Taking Payments, Cashing up, Customer Service, Making Drinks, Baking and Preparing Food, Cleaning and Organising, Stock Management and anything else that contributes to the smooth and efficient running of the business.

Description of the work:

New Street Market is an exciting, flexible and diverse space operating a cafe, retail outlet, bar and private events. Our ideal candidate will find the opportunity to work across these areas exciting and energising, happy to take on any task that will contribute to the success of the business.

You should have a positive attitude to taking on new tasks when given the appropriate training, with an understanding that every detail contributes to a positive customer experience. You’ll be at your best when working in a team environment and have great communication skills to enable the management to react to both things that are working well and areas that require improvement.

You will have a passion and understanding of what great hospitality is all about - the idea that you can change a person’s day for the better with care and paying attention to the details. You’ll be open to taking on any task that helps the business perform well, whether that be customer facing, making drinks, food or prep tasks.

The idea of spaces that are well organised and clean will be a must and you wont be the kind of person to cut corners or leave your colleagues in the lurch. You’ll take pride in your work, appearance and the success of the business.
