Golden Hour featuring The Woolverstones at the Blue Lodge

  • New Street Market 70 New Street Woodbridge, England, IP12 1DX United Kingdom (map)

New Street Market's intimate artist's showcase returns. Enter the warm glow for a night of live music that may just change your life.

House band Ramsholt Church (Daniel Metz & Ned Moss) invite some of their most talented friends to come and share their music.

This month’s featured artist is: The Woolverstones

The Woolverstones, an alternative folk duo formed in late 2019, are steadily carving out a name for themselves on the international folk circuit. Their debut single, "A Song for Harlequins"—hailed as a "Folk Masterpiece" by Laurel Canyon Radio—received airplay across the UK, North America, and beyond, drawing praise from legends including The Byrds and members of Woodstock icons Country Joe and the Fish.

Their critically acclaimed debut album Grey Eyed Dandy (2022), produced by the Grammy-nominated John Wood (Nick Drake, John Martyn, Richard & Linda Thompson), further established their reputation. One track was named “Track of the Week” by BBC Introducing, and the title song was featured on Fruits de Mer Records' 2025 compilation, In The Year 2025, cementing the duo’s place in the modern folk landscape.

Please note: this event is at the Blue Lodge, a live-music venue directly next door to New Street Market. Please arrive at NSM, check yourself in at the bar, and you will be guided to the venue when the concert is ready to begin.
