There’s a brilliant local folk band we’ve seen around for the last couple of years. We’re so proud to be welcoming them to NSM.

Flaxen is Suffolk folk group, with Kathy on Flute, Martin on Violin, Doug on Mandolin/Harp and Vince on12 string guitar and vocals, playing an eclectic mix of folk and pop ballads.

They’re good fun, they’re deeply stirring, they have a lovely way of connecting with audiences and presenting a relaxed and meaningful canon of songs - well, basically we really like them.

Flaxen have nominated the charity ‘Ending Life’s Taboo’ to put proceeds from ticket sales towards so please do support them in raising money. They offer counselling for life limited adults up to 45 years old in North East and East Suffolk.
