An evening of traditional songs and stories, from the British Isles to the Appalachian Mountains. Performed by Ewan D. Rodgers and Dan Sedgwick.
Ewan D. Rodgers is a folk singer, guitarist and banjo player from another age. Originally from West Yorkshire but now based in Suffolk, Ewan is a natural re-interpreter, drawing influences from a wide range of traditional sources to create music that evokes the forgotten struggles and joys of individuals, whilst illustrating the universality of human experience.
Dan Sedgwick is a storyteller from Ipswich who tells stories in all sorts of places to all sorts of people. During the last year he has performed at The East Anglian Storytelling Festival, Get A Word In Edgeways festival and Cambridge folk festival. Dan loves to combine local stories with ancient Middle Eastern wisdom.
