Edinburgh Fringe Pre-Festival Festival: Ben Pope’s Page Boy

  • New Street Market 70 New Street Woodbridge, England, IP12 1DX United Kingdom (map)

Ben Pope ('total delight' **** - Fest) is a bookseller by day and a stand-up comedian by night. Come and join him as he stress tests a new hour of book-flavoured jokes.

There’ll be stuff about Where’s Wally?, airport thrillers, Dr Seuss, performative male readers and Sylvia Plath’s bloody fig tree. Maybe he'll even read some bits of a book he's writing.

If you consider yourself a reader: this show is for you! If you don’t – well, I hate to break it to you, but you’re reading RIGHT NOW. I’ll see you there.

'Pope is superb company' **** - Evening Standard

'Could an audience with the actual Pope offer as much?' **** - The Telegraph

This show is part of our Edinburgh Fringe Pre-Festival Festival. We are proud to be hosting four emerging comedians working out the final kinks of their new shows as they make their way up to Edinburgh for the Fringe the following week.
