Celebrating a bumper first year of NSM DJ/ AV sessions, Woodbridge Festival's resident vinyl and visuals DJ x VJ tag team return with guest DJ Daddy Turbo for a Windrush Day edition, celebrating 78 years since the docking of the Windrush in East Anglia on 22 June 1948. The night is the first of two pre-parties for this year's Carnival at the Regatta - Woodbridge Festival's annual event in Whisstock's Place, during the town's historic Regatta weekend.
Guest DJ Daddy Turbo is a fixture on Ipswich's Caribbean, reggae and soul music scene. An early pirate DJ, overcoming the restrictions of the FM mainstream, he's now a popular resident voice of ICR FM (the UK's oldest community radio station).
DJ and VJ Ben Osborne and Girl in A T-Shirt have appeared in venues such as The Tate, Village Underground, Glastonbury - Stonebridge Stage, Latitude Film and Music Arena, BFI Southbank, EartH, Royal Festival Hall, National Portrait Gallery, Chelsea Arts Club, The End - AKA, The Roundhouse, First Light Festival and more.
Join in for vinyl, visuals, v-steps and voguing - other dance moves are available.
